Hm, is there a difference if I install the files first, and afterwards remove them again, compared to removing it from the cab? Basically I've seen no difference is system behaviour as well. (And yes, I backed up the files before) If there'S a difference.I will try to get the WinCE cab manager running. EDIT: I now did as you explained, removed the 3 files from the cab with WinCE cab manager. Then uninstalled the old version and reinstalled the cab. W/o the BT-files you mentioned.
No change, still connection is not working, error message is 'BT is deactivated'. I need some help please. I tried to install this TT cab (as well as several other TT7 versions) on my Sprint TP2. I have maps on the storage card, and wanted to install cab to the device.
Waited for 15 hours (yes, hours), and it is still not done. Still says 'installing', not frozen, but not done yet. Staus bar is filled, but not finished installing. I tried with both 6.1 and 6.5 stock ROMs, same result. On my old TP1, I was able to install 14MB TT7 cab in 10-15 min, no problems.

What is the deal??? I am doing some thing wrong, but what??? I can run TT from the card, just by copying and using the only tomtom.exe and data.chk files, but I would like to install it on the divice. I used to be able to do this easily. Any ideas please.
